Etymology is an account of a word’s origin & evolution in form & meaning.

A word that was initially spoken into being as a representation of one concept can morph into a completely different concept over time – sometimes even a seeming opposite to its original declaration.

Words are living teachers, then, traveling & transforming along their journey, carrying the power of creation & destruction on their wings.

We have all been destroyed, transformed & reborn through the power of words – it is a continual process for the rejuvenation of the human soul.

Should you find challenge in my words, consider it an act of love.

When choosing your own words, consider them first as an act of Self-empowerment & second, as an act of love for others. They will create ripples.

Noun: Measured Flow. Movement. A sequence of regularly recurring events.

Online Etymology Dictionary. Douglas Harper, Historian.

Life does not exist apart from rhythm. Life is rhythm.

We are rhythmic beings.  Our heart, our breath, the electronic impulses of communication between our brain & body all pulse to the same rhythmic dance as the Cosmos itself.

Then why the existence of so much stiffness in society – such fear of one another? How did we lose our ability to feel the rhythm of the Universe? Indeed, we are collectively unaware that we are the Universe – pulsing, vibrating, rippling with astonishing beauty.

Let’s get a move on! Movement alleviates stress, frustration, & feelings of isolation. Isolation separates us from the ground of our Being. Rhythm is the remedy – the foundation on which we build the temple of our bodies – the houses of Spirit in the material world.

Movement prevents dis-ease – heals wounds. Energy travels; it creates ripples that affect everyone & everything in ways both subtle & profound. Be aware of the energy you generate & that which you allow to pass through you. Release & create intentionally, as you are a conduit for both destructive & constructive energy. We all have the power to heal.

Rhythmic Movement Meditations are fun, sexy, & designed to set you free.

Noun: a track or channel, a fixed routine, an enjoyable time or experience.

Verb: to take great pleasure; enjoy oneself. Collins English Dictionary – Complete & Unabridged 10th Edition. HarperCollins Publishers.

To Groove is to be free, to flow, as a powerful a way of life.

Getting in the Groove is to find the track or channel where one flows most effortlessly, without the encumbrances of thought & within the interconnected rhythms & frequencies that create harmonic balance.

If you’re having trouble connecting or finding your way, Music can be your closest ally & one of the quickest ways to find your groove. It’s also one of the easiest ways to establish a connection with others.

Music has always been a river of transcendence, transformation & power for me. When I am unable to express, in words, Music speaks. Music is the friend who takes me deep into the ground of my personal human experience, high into the furthest reaches of my larger Self – what I know as God alive in me – & then wide open into the world of Consciousness existing as form.

Music is as essential as the air we breathe. Groove is essential for freedom & connection.
